DETROIT (August 22, 2024) – Graham Media Group, the local media division of Graham Holdings Company (NYSE: GHC), today announced the appointment of Sathab Abbo as Deputy General Counsel. Reporting to Jane Marshall, Vice President and General Counsel, Sathab brings a wealth of experience in handling complex legal matters, negotiations, commercial transactions, legal compliance, data privacy, and more.

Before joining Graham Media Group, Sathab served as Head of Legal/General Counsel for VIIZR, a FordPro + Salesforce JV Start-Up. Prior to her role at VIIZR, she was a Commercial Transactions Attorney within the Office of General Counsel at Ford Motor Company.

Sathab holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Wayne State University's School of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sathab is an active mentor, volunteer, and board member for various community organizations.

Sathab will officially assume her new role on Monday, August 26, 2024.
