KPRC-TV sports reporter Ari Alexander was awarded 2 Lone Star Sports Emmy awards from the Lone Star Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences.

Alexander has been a reporter for KPRC since 2019, and is a 2013 graduate from the Missouri School of Journalism.

The Emmy Award is regarded as the most prestigious peer-judged award recognizing excellence in professional achievement with annual awards of merit in the television industry through extensive, confidential peer review of broadcast work and related media.
